Threshold

In conversations with young men approaching the end of their teenaged years, they spoke openly and generously about what they had wrestled with in their adolescence. In response, I showed them images from art history of David with the head of Goliath- David also a teen who had wrestled with something ‘bigger’ than himself. Each young man gave some serious thought as to what would best represent what it was he wrestled with- his personal Goliath- and posed themselves holding the object.
